These terms govern your use of cardboardculture.com.au, operated by Cardboard Culture (ABN 78 697 788 953) of 467 Hume Highway, Yagoona NSW 2199. By using the site you accept them.

Our content

The site's design, copy, branding and imagery belong to Cardboard Culture unless noted. You may not reproduce them commercially without permission. Trading card game names, set names, logos and artwork referenced on this site (Pokémon, One Piece Card Game, Dragon Ball Super Card Game, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, Magic: The Gathering, NBA, NRL and others) are trademarks and copyrights of their respective owners. Cardboard Culture is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by those rights holders.

Acceptable use

• Don't misuse the site — no scraping at scale, no attempting to break, probe or overload it.
• Don't submit false, misleading or unlawful content through our forms.
• Don't use the site to infringe anyone else's rights.

Shopping & services

Online purchases are processed through our Square-powered store; Square's terms apply to payment processing. Product availability and pricing can change without notice. Grading services are provided per the terms on the grading page — pre-assessments are opinions, not guarantees, and third-party grading fees and turnarounds are outside our control. Our shipping & returns policy covers orders.

Membership & points

• Membership is free. You earn points on what you spend with us, and your tier is set by the points you have earned over the life of the account — spending points never moves you down a tier.
• Points have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, sold, or transferred to another person or account.
• Points do not expire while your account is active. If an account is inactive for 24 months we may expire the balance, and we will email you before we do.
• Deleting your account forfeits any unspent points and store credit. Spend them first if you want them.
• Points awarded in error, or on a purchase later refunded or charged back, may be reversed. Reversals are posted as their own entry so the history stays complete.
• Tier names, thresholds and benefits can change. We will give notice before a change that reduces a benefit you already hold.
• Store credit issued through our buylist is redeemable in store and online. It is not refundable for cash except where the Australian Consumer Law requires it.

Grading service

• We are an authorised submission agent, not a grading company. We do not assign grades. The grade is decided entirely by the third-party grader and is outside our control.
• No grade is guaranteed. Nothing we say about a card before submission is a promise about the grade it will receive, and a lower grade than hoped is not grounds for a refund of fees already incurred.
• CC Pre-Grade is an estimate, not a grade. It is our own opinion, produced by Cardboard Culture, with no affiliation to or endorsement by PSA, BGS, CGC or AGS. It carries no weight with any grading company and does not predict their result.
• Fees are quoted per card at the band for your submission size, plus one handling fee. Third-party grading fees, postage, insurance and any duties are passed on at cost and can change without notice.
• Turnaround times are the grader's estimates, quoted from arrival at their facility and excluding travel. We cannot expedite them.
• Declared value is your responsibility and sets the insurance available. Under-declaring limits what you can recover if a card is lost or damaged.
• Cards are handled with care, but submission carries inherent risk including loss or damage in transit. Our liability is limited to the insured declared value.
• We may decline a submission — including cards we believe to be counterfeit, altered or trimmed — and will return them to you.

Buylist

• A buylist quote is an offer, not a binding contract, and stands only for the period stated on it.
• Quotes assume the condition described. If the cards we receive do not match, we will requote and you can accept or have them returned.
• You confirm the cards are yours to sell and are genuine. We may decline anything we believe to be counterfeit, altered or stolen, and may be obliged to report it.
• Payment is by store credit or cash at our discretion. Once a payout is accepted the sale is final.
• Valid photo ID may be required for larger buys.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees. Beyond what the law requires, the site is provided “as is” — we're not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of it, from third-party links (including our social channels and the Square store), or from interruptions outside our control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
